A Brief Overview
The medical industry has been experiencing some rapid growth for electronic components and its applications in this industry. This fast-paced influx of medical electronics and the associated technologies has boosted the overall infrastructure in this industry by digitizing various tasks such as medical tests, diagnosis methods, and other therapeutic processes. It has also accelerated the mixing of medicine and IT and brought about growth in telemedicine. Hence the need for a common platform where people associated with this such as doctors, tech industries, researchers, academicians, key decision makers could discuss and deliberate about prospects and finding solutions for the emerging problems. Today’s medical industry is hugely dependent on using the Internet of things(IoT) and artificial intelligence systems based designs coupled with wearable devices which is easy to use and carry. One of the many challenges in this industry is to develop accurate and reliable solutions targeted for specific applications which also meets international medical product design standards. This market focuses on customized products for each use case along with easy to use features. A newly emerging area which engages patients and doctors online for quick interactions is fast gaining momentum. It is essential to capitalize on these market trends to improve efficiency with fair competition.
Needs of this Industry
The current medical electronics field requires the usage of new and reliable technologies such as FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array), Internet of Things(IoT), Artificial Intelligence(AI). Nowadays wellness gaming designed with the help of embedded sensors is used in the application of precision medicine delivery. The Industry requires not the only state of the art dependable technology but also one which passes necessary medical standards and has received FDA(Food and Drug Administration) approvals.
The Role of Avench
We have experience in building a Hemoglobin Analyzer device capable of monitoring blood hemoglobin levels using the non-insertion mechanism of pulse oximetry. We developed a single board computer with complete board design and software development. Our experience in developing eye scanning technologies which use infrared to produce images for analyzing eye dryness has already helped ophthalmologists and other ECP(Eye Care Professionals) in early diagnosis and detection methods for disease prevention.
Avench Systems excels in medical electronics due to the adoption of international best practices such as:
- Design History Files (DHF)
- A Device master record (DMR)
- Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Solid Device History Records with traceability (DHR)
- Robust complaint handling and a corrective action system with cause analysis
- State of the art production controls
- Excellent software and process validation strategy (IQ, OQ, PQ)
